Page Layouts

Salve Regina University Library
As a summer job, I designed the library page for the school I went to. Highlights include a streamlined interface and layout structure, as well as an interective map and library tour that is used by new students to learn where rooms are located. The main page has since been altered by a large company and most of the functionality has died along with it, but the map and tour are still there.

Then just for fun, I co-designed and ran a fanzine site for the game half-life. It was a fairly popular site and was mentioned in the Complete Gamer UK magazine for unique layout. You can view a copy of that here. Due to excess bandwith that went above the 1 gigabyte per month limit, the site was closed. On a side note, there was a 10 Megabyte space limit so the 1 gig/month bandwith limit was hit entirely through text pages and small images; not a small feat.
The RIYF League
During the Far2Cool time period and a bit after I co-ran the RIYF league, which was a clan where players of Half-life could band together and have organized matches. Unfortunately things didn't work out, but we got some cool site design. The layout changed looks several times and in those changes, there was unique flash and graphic art that formed a comprehensive site.

I stopped doing little jobs on the side and started doing them for a company. This site is for a boat being built that is a replica of a 14th century galleon and will be handicap-accessible for free rides across the ports of America. The site is designed with a flag and rope theme in mind and has a donor database that can be searched as well as added to.
